Introducing Your New Website…

We would like to introduce you to your prospective website so that you can get to know the features and functions that are provided. To accompany the full description and screenshots which you can find below, we also provide a fully working demo of this website. You can explore the website as a customer, viewing properties, searching properties and even contacting the agents responsible for each property.

Homepage

Your homepage consists of a handy search bar which can be extended for more in depth searches.

Under the search bar, you will find a slider containing featured properties. These are properties which have a featured tag. This way, you can easily decide which of your properties would be shown in this slider, helping you highlight the best properties you have on offer.

Below the slider you will find the latest properties that have been listed on your site. The number of properties listed on each page can be between 3 and 12.

To the right of each page, you have your sidebar where you can list your latest blog posts, comments, properties and anything else you can think of.

Property Search Results

When searching for a property, the user can enter as many or as few fields as they prefer, allowing both a wide search and a more specific search. Users can select minimum number of bedrooms, bathrooms and garages as well as selecting a location, property type (house, condo, bungalow etc), minimum and maximum price as well as minimum and maximum floor space.

Once the user completes their search, the search results page is displayed. On the search results page you have the search bar at the top of the screen followed by all the properties that match the users requirements. Should the user need to refine their search further, they can do so using the search bar at the top of the page. Users can click on the property photo, title, price or “more info” to be able to view the full property listing.

To the right of this page is the sidebar.

Single Property Listing

When a user views a single property listing, they will be able to see the property title at the top of the page along with the address, status and property ID.

Under this, you will see the main info bar. This is used to inform customers quickly and easily about the property key areas. These include the price, floor space, garages, bedrooms, bathrooms and other information.

To the right of this is a “contact agent” button. This can be used to either contact your real estate agency, or to contact the agent responsible for this property. This is ideal as a real estate agency will likely have different staff dealing with different locations or property types.

Next is the property description which can include any information you like.

At the bottom of the description is a list of social bookmarks so that users can easily bookmark any properties that they like, allowing others to view the property which helps build interest for your property listings and increase visitor numbers to your website.

The next section is the property features. Here, it displays the features that you have added to the property such as Maid’s Room, Pool, Gym etc. You can add as many features as you like, using existing features or creating new features.

Under the features, you can see the property gallery. Each property can have as many photos as you like, displaying the main selling points of the property.

Below the gallery you can view a Google Map showing the location of the property. This is optional and you can choose to not include the map if you do not want to disclose the location of the property. Instead of a map, you can even include a Google Streetcam (where streetcam is available) which will allow the user to view the property as if there in person as well as checking the rest of the location to ensure it is an area they would like to move to.

Administration

Logging into your website, you can add, edit and delete properties, property features, property locations, property types, posts, pages, categories and just about anything else. We provide a full and easy to follow guide for everything you can do with your website, so no previous experience is required. If you can use a computer keyboard and mouse, you will have no problems using your new website.

Behind the scenes

There are many features and functions which operate behind the scenes to help make your website run smoother, faster and more efficient, keeping in line with our “minimum input, maximum output” philosophy. The following list details all behind the scenes features and functions included as standard with your website. If there are any features and functions which you do not want, we can easily remove them for you when we build your website.
